OUR CATTERY

Cats have always been close to the heart of the breeder, Peppi-Emilia Hovén. Since the beginning of the 2000s, we have had house cats, but later the interest in the world of cat shows and purebred cats arose and the first Siberian cat came into the house. 

The breeder course of the Finnish Cat Association was completed in winter 2022 and the cattery name was granted by FIFé on May 1, 2022. The name, Ammaliare, comes from the Italian language and means enchantment. 

Currently our cattery is located in central Italy, Isernia. Our home in Finland is located in Eastern Uusimaa, Pukaro. All our cats are our sociable and beloved family members, with whom we share our everyday life. All our litters are carefully planned from good-natured parents.

Before moving to the new home kitten is..

- at least 14 weeks old and weighing at least 1 kilo 

- vaccinated and wormed according to the veterinarian's instructions 

- marked with a microchip 

- registered FIFé/Finnish Cat Association 

- litter box trained, used to everyday things (e.g. cutting nails) and handled a lot 

- it is possible to get an EU passport if needed!

The kitten will have.. 

- care instructions (verbally and written) 

- comprehensive kitten package 

- the breeder's support and help throughout the cat's lifetime 

- all documents (pedigree, copies of parents' health certificates etc)

All our cats used in breeding are health checked by a veterinarian, they have been examined for infectious diseases (FeLV + FIV) and they have had HCM (heart) and PKD (kidney) ultrasounds. Our goal is primarily to breed long-living family members, good-natured and healthy cats, without forgetting their breed characteristics.

We can easily transport kittens all over the Europe. Since there is a waiting period of a few weeks for the rabies vaccination, the kitten is handed over to a new home at 15-16 weeks old.
